Job Summary
Day Shift EVS Shift Supervisor leads the Environmental Services team responsible for the cleanliness of assigned public spaces, casino, grounds, and employee areas. Supervises Housekeeper/Lead Housekeeper staff, manages daily checklists and project lists, ensures compliance with safety, HR, and loss-prevention policies, and coordinates inspections. Responsible for hiring and training, coordinating maintenance needs, reviewing work procedures, and maintaining a professional, guest-focused environment while adhering to regulatory requirements. Requires associate degree or equivalent experience, ability to lead a team, and ability to obtain required gaming licenses. Based in Anderson, Indiana.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Proficient in English reading and writing; ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures
- Ability to calculate figures and communicate effectively
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a non-gaming license from Indiana Gaming Commission/Indiana Horse Racing Commission and valid Indiana Driver’s License
- Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
