Job Summary
Conduct preventative maintenance on thermoforming machines and ensure auxiliary equipment like chillers, compressors, and HVAC systems remain operational. Coordinate machine downtime with lead process technicians to implement scheduled maintenance activities while maintaining a safe, clean work area. Own and use necessary hand tools and ensure safety guarding is functional on all machinery. Read and understand schematics, shop orders, and production documents to accurately record and maintain records pertaining to production.
Required Qualifications
- Have a thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical systems and machine functions
- Be able to use machine shop equipment i.e. mill, grinders, welder, band saws
- Have an in depth understanding of compressors, chillers, HVAC systems
- Be able to read, write and understand schematics
- Be able to read and understand shop orders, various production documents and both oral and written job instructions
- Accurately record and maintain records pertaining to production
