Job Summary
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Day Services program, including reviewing staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage, and providing first-line on-call coverage. Direct and support Direct Support Professionals through weekly staff observations, monthly supervision, and performance evaluations. Manage participant funds, petty cash, and billing submissions while reviewing progress notes, support logs, and data to ensure compliance with Individual Service Plans. Complete monthly individual record reviews, serious incident reports, and CHRIS reports as required. Communicate with individuals, families, legal guardians, and representatives while attending ISP meetings and other required sessions. Maintain strict confidentiality, respond immediately to emergencies, and complete mandatory training including CPR, First Aid, and Medication Management. Work onsite Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field
- At least five years of experience working with individuals with intellectual, developmental, mental health, or other disabilities
- At least three years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Virginia Waiver regulations
- Knowledge of DMAS
- Knowledge of DBHDS
- Knowledge of person-centered service requirements
- Strong supervisory skills

- Strong time management skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Ability to respond immediately and effectively in emergency situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, balance, or climb as needed

- Ability to hear with or without the assistance of a hearing aid
- Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to assist with intermittent physical activity, including lifting and supporting individuals served
- Ability to work in environments where exposure to viruses, disease, infection, or traumatic situations may occur
- Ability to work at any assigned facility
- Ability to provide reliable transportation
- Ability to become familiar with and comply with Beyond Disabilities' policies and procedures
- Ability to protect the rights of individuals served by the agency

- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM availability
