Job Summary
The Day Services Specialist provides group and individual intervention in the Day Services Program, supporting client recovery through screening, intake, and group-based services designed with evidence-based curricula. The role involves planning and evaluating services collaboratively with clients and care teams, conducting three group sessions daily, documenting service information, and contributing to a safe, trauma-informed environment. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree, and experience in mental health and facilitated group sessions is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related industry
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in mental health setting preferred
- Experience facilitating groups preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information
- Ability to recognize and maintain professional and personal boundaries
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
