Job Summary
Maintain dormitory cleanliness, organization, and inspection readiness by conducting room inspections, enforcing standards across common areas, and identifying maintenance issues. Ensure students are awake, prepared, and on time for the training day through morning accountability checks, dorm meetings, and monitoring hygiene and dress. Provide supervision and informal counseling related to behavior, responsibility, and daily living skills while facilitating life skills development. Maintain accurate documentation, conduct safety perimeter checks, and promote a safe environment free from harassment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage with and manage a diverse student population
- Ability to maintain consistency and enforce expectations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with youth, residential programs, or similar environments
- Experience in housekeeping, hotel, motel, or custodial work
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
