Job Summary
Provide direct support and supervision to participants in various activities while ensuring their safety and well-being. Execute daily programming including sensory, social, physical, and mindfulness activities, community outings, and medication administration as needed. Administer medications and follow written care plans, communicating changes in participants' conditions and writing incident reports. Assist participants in achieving individual goals and promote independence. Provide program leadership in the director's absence. Live within 20 miles of our office in Milwaukee.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow written care plans
- Ability to communicate changes in participants' conditions
- Ability to dispense medications
- Ability to write incident reports
- Pass criminal, civil, and Wisconsin Caregiver background checks
- Valid driver's license without any DWI, DUI, or reckless driving convictions in the past seven years
- No more than two traffic tickets in the past three years
- High school diploma or GED
- Live within 20 miles of our office
