Job Summary
Day Program Skills Instructor teaches adaptive daily living skills to individuals with developmental disabilities, develops curriculum using activities like art, music, cooking, health & fitness, mentors individuals, assesses needs, creates and implements Individual Support Plans to promote independence, plans and oversees community-based activities, and provides personal care aligned with individual goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- Must pass company background and reference checks
