Day Program Service Worker

Day Program Service Worker responsible for delivering services and supports to individuals in the Hanover Day Program, ensuring safety, meeting consumer needs, and facilitating community participation. Responsibilities include supervising outings, assisting with activities of daily living (e.g., feeding support, transferring from wheelchairs), administering medications, transporting consumers on outings, documenting care and incidents, completing time sheets, and reporting to the Day Program Supervisor. Must communicate effectively with consumers, families, and staff; implement regulatory requirements; and align with Bell’s Person-Centered Planning, Positive Approaches, Normalization/Social Role Valorization, and Everyday Lives philosophies. Provides a variety of experiences to consumers based on interests and participates as part of the Multidisciplinary Team.
