Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering independence while ensuring health and safety needs are met. Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in daily life activities and provide personal care assistance. Transport individuals between homes and the Day Program using a company passenger van, and facilitate participation in community outings. This full-time Monday-through-Friday first shift role includes paid training in CPR and First Aid. ViaQuest Day & Employment Services offers a comprehensive benefit package for full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Fewer than 6 points in the last three years on your motor vehicle record
- Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs
- Can climb, balance, kneel and crouch
