Job Summary
Day Porter position with 9:00 a.m. start (Monday-Saturday, 3-4 hours/day) in Murrieta, CA. Responsibilities include maintaining clean and healthy environments for client buildings, performing cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, trash removal, window cleaning, polishing), restocking bathrooms, responding to cleaning emergencies, and notifying hazardous conditions. Use provided ServiceMaster products and PPE; maintain inventory of supplies; place wet-floor and other safety signs as needed; contribute to a positive team environment and arrive in uniform. Prior cleaning experience is a plus though on-the-job training is provided; English communication required; lifting up to 25 lbs; flexible work pace in a professional environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper a plus but not required
- Ability to read cleaning instructions
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Physical demands: standing, lifting up to 25lbs
- On-the-job training provided
- PPE usage
