Job Summary
Conduct daily janitorial routes in the Carlsbad area, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and wiping surfaces while picking up trash and emptying receptacles. Clean restrooms, high-traffic zones, exterior doors, windows, and windowsills, and remove debris such as stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti. Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness and report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor. Use required safety equipment and a mobile device for time-keeping and document review. Maintain a friendly presence as the eyes and ears of the property. Shift runs Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm with pay of $17.75 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement. Requires a driver's license, vehicle insurance, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Driver's License
- Vehicle Insurance
- Strong communicator in English or Spanish – both written and verbal
- Familiar with using a mobile device (such as a cell phone or tablet) regularly for time-keeping and document review
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently
- Physically active and enjoy being on your feet outdoors
- On your feet throughout the shift
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Walking stairs and large properties regularly
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
