Job Summary
Day Porter responsibilities include keeping the commercial property clean and presentable, picking up trash, sweeping and mopping, cleaning restrooms and high-traffic areas, cleaning exterior doors/windows, removing debris, and inspecting for cleanliness. Requires good communication in English or Spanish, comfort with using mobile devices for timekeeping/document review, reliability, punctuality, independence, and physical stamina for outdoor work and lifting up to 50 lbs. Prior janitorial/custodial/porter experience is preferred. Offers weekly pay, 401(k) with company match, life insurance, and employee assistance programs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in janitorial, custodial, or porter work (preferred—but not required)
- Strong communicator in English or Spanish (written and verbal)
- Familiar with using a mobile device for timekeeping and document review
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently
- Physically active and able to be on feet outdoors
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments
- Comfortable with safety protocols and equipment
- Willing to undergo background check and drug screening
