Job Summary
Conduct daily custodial work across the facility, cleaning approximately 4,500 to 5,000 square feet within one hour by mopping, vacuuming carpets, dusting fixtures, and replenishing rest room supplies. Empty waste baskets, collect debris, and disinfect lavatories and locker rooms while maintaining a clean, sanitary environment. Report structural concerns and safety hazards immediately, ensuring cleaning carts remain secured and pathways stay clear of equipment. Work Tuesday through Saturday from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, performing duties requiring significant bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English
- Apply common sense understanding to follow instructions that were provided
- Must be able to communicate in and understand English
- Bending - 80% of the shift
- Carrying - 95% of the shift
- Kneeling - 75% of the shift
- Lifting - 75% of the shift
- Pulling and pushing - 80% of the shift
- Reaching overhead - 75% of the shift
- Standing - 100% of the shift
- Walking - 95% of the shift
- Grasping - 95% of the shift
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50lbs
- Carrying up to 30 lbs
- Reports to work on time
- Dressed in company uniform to also include employee badge and black safety shoes
- Identifies and reports safety hazards to supervisor
- Follows safety procedures which include the correct use of PPE and other Safety requirements based on the job
- Responsible for cleaning all bio-waste using these procedures
- Reports structural concerns to Manager immediately
- Employment is contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Tuesday to Saturday: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
- 2nd Shift, Weekends
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma is preferred
- Six months of related experience is preferred
