Day Porter

Day Porter role focused on maintaining cleanliness and order in offices, restrooms, break rooms, and warehouse spaces. Responsibilities include cleaning floors (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming), collecting and consolidating trash, servicing restrooms, cleaning walls, racks and equipment, preparing cleaning solutions, using commercial cleaning equipment and power cleaning tools, following safety procedures to protect floors and fixtures, moving furniture and supplies, and assisting with event setup. Also required is the ability to operate a Rider Jack with certification or to obtain certification, adherence to safety guidelines, physical stamina for manual labor (lifting/bending), and strong communication to interact with colleagues and visitors. The role emphasizes attention to cleanliness standards and the ability to work independently with reliable/punctual attendance. Education required: high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred, along with knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
