Day Porter

Day Porter needed to maintain common areas of office buildings, apartments, or other commercial/institutional facilities. Responsibilities include spot cleaning lobby glass doors, polishing chrome on lobby doors, vacuuming elevator cabs and walls, inspecting exterior and picking up trash, emptying exterior receptacles, restroom cleaning twice daily, sweeping entrances, removing debris from landscaped areas, policing lobby during high-traffic times, reporting lights and solicitors to management, and assisting the building Engineer as needed. Key competencies include Attendance/Punctuality, Dependability, and Safety/Security; work environment may involve exposure to moving parts, fumes, outdoor weather, and electrical risk. CCS emphasizes service, internal promotion, and a customer-focused Service Heart.
