Job Summary
Pick orders, palletize products, and load/unload materials in the Loadout, Freezer, or Cooler areas. Operate motorized and manual equipment to handle freight while marking paperwork for product shortages and maintaining accurate records on load, inventory, and scrap sheets. Ensure proper code date rotation, document all work according to SOPs, and report mechanical or product/packaging issues immediately. Maintain a clean, sanitary work area following Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety protocols. Communicate with management and other departments regarding production concerns and assist in process improvements. Wear required PPE and work in temperatures between 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit.
Required Qualifications
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
- Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to pass all preemployment screens (including drug, background and criminal checks).
- Must be able to work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand and drive for virtually the entire shift.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs through the entire shift.
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
