Job Summary
Pick orders, palletize products, and load/unload materials in the Loadout, Freezer, or Cooler areas. Operate motorized and manual freight handling equipment while marking paperwork for product shortages and maintaining accurate records on load, inventory, and scrap sheets. Ensure proper code date rotation, report mechanical or product issues, and document all activities per SOPs. Maintain a clean, sanitary work area following Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety protocols. Wear required PPE and work in temperatures of 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit. Work flexible hours including weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
- Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to pass all preemployment screens (including drug, background and criminal checks).
- Must be able to work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand and drive for virtually the entire shift.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs through the entire shift.
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
