Job Summary
Full-time Industrial Maintenance Technician II at Flowers Foods, responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across bakery equipment with emphasis on safety, reliability, and efficiency. Must demonstrate strong mechanical capabilities, proficiency in electrical welding, gas welding, cutting, soldering, pipe fittings, and metal fabrication (milling and lathe), plus ability to inspect mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, rebuild drive components, verify timing, perform lubrication, and conduct preventive maintenance. Requires ability to use SAP for parts checkout and data entry, adapt to rotating assignments, climb ladders up to 20 feet, lift up to 50 lbs, and comply with company policies and procedures. Education required includes a high school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade certification is a plus; 1+ years of technician experience in related fields preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Licenses required by municipal/state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and various other job-related equipment
- Technical/Trade School certification or diploma is a plus
