Job Summary
Complete bio-psychosocial assessments and critically assess assigned patients to provide the best continuum of care. Facilitate therapeutic services including process, psychoeducation, and experiential group therapy while conducting individual therapy sessions. Effectively communicate with family members regarding updates and concerns, and coordinate with the discharge team to facilitate accurate and clinically appropriate discharge planning. Utilize empirically supported theoretical orientations to create individualized treatment plans and document progress in the EMR. Attend weekly treatment team meetings, clinical supervision, and patient behavioral staffings. This role serves the substance use population with a focus on multi-culturally competent strategies and understanding the disease of addiction.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related degree
- Clinical experience in crisis, behavioral, and therapeutic interventions
- One (1) year or more working as a clinician in the addiction and recovery field
- One (1) year or more working with adults with addictive disorders and dual diagnoses
- One (1) year or more experience facilitating therapeutic groups
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed or Registered LMHC/LCSW/LMFT in the State of Florida preferred
