Job Summary
Review assigned routes and complete street sweeping duties on time with attention to quality. Perform required pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and operate specialized mechanical broom sweepers while following traffic laws and site protocols. Handle materials according to disposal procedures and immediately report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns to supervisors. Complete accurate logs and paperwork for all daily operations. Maintain high visibility and professional communication with team members and clients while adhering to all regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- 1 year DOT driving experience
- Driver's License
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must maintain an acceptable driving record
- Must successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Must successfully pass a drug screening
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Ability to conduct inspections
- Ability to operate equipment responsibly
- Ability to comply with all traffic, site, and regulatory requirements
- Strong ability to plan routes
- Ability to complete work efficiently and accurately
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions
- Ability to maintain consistent, dependable attendance
- Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors and teammates
- Ability to represent the Company professionally
- Ability to promptly report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs at varying heights, including overhead
- Ability to operate specialized equipment (e.g., mechanical broom sweeper)
- Use of hand controls, foot controls, and fine motor skills
- Ability to follow traffic laws and site protocols
- Ability to handle materials according to disposal and safety procedures
