Job Summary
Manage daily operations of the Day Habilitation program, including incident management, staff supervision, and hiring. Lead Life Plan Meetings, Safeguards, and bi-monthly staff trainings while ensuring documentation compliance and tracking professional development. Collaborate with participants, families, and JCC departments to design individualized plans and foster independence. Conduct outreach to recruit new members, oversee supply purchases, and manage financial aspects like petty cash. Report progress and address program issues through regular assessments and data-driven adjustments.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years' experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Experience developing creative programming for persons with disabilities
- Knowledge of OPWDD funding and regulatory guidelines
- Ability to collaborate with other agencies and community at large
- 3 years' supervisory experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
