DAY DSP for adult women (1F0221G)

Provide in-home Direct Support Professional (DSP) care for an adult client with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in the Portland metro area. Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks in the client’s home and in the community (e.g., cleaning, shopping, appointments, transportation), helping manage the client’s calendar, documenting progress notes and quarterly reports, and maintaining clear communication with the client’s family and the agency. The role requires a reliable vehicle with current insurance, GPS-based clock-in/out, the ability to transport the client as needed, and the flexibility to adapt to varying personalities and support needs. The DSP works 1:1 with the client, primarily in her home or community settings, with duties that may involve memory support, behavior management, budgeting, cooking, and shopping. The position is offered as part-time or full-time and emphasizes patient, kind, and positive interaction, confidentiality, and independence in performance.
