Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic for street sweeping equipment (1st shift) based in Downingtown, PA. Responsible for inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of hydraulic, electrical, and air systems on sweepers, loaders, and backhoes. Performs safety-related tasks (lockout/tagout), preventive maintenance, documentation of inspections/repairs, and communicates repair status with operators and supervisors. Strong emphasis on safety, compliance, reliability, and hands-on mechanical/technical expertise. Minimum 3 years shop experience, HS diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass MVR/DOT/drug screening. Competitive hourly pay in the $25-$35 range with benefits and weekly pay; in-person, 1st shift.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- 3 years of hands-on experience in a shop environment working with hydraulic, electrical, and air pressure systems.
- Driver’s License
- Must provide and maintain basic hand tools up to 1 1⁄2 and diagnostic tools
- Age 18+
- Must maintain an acceptable driving record and successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check, background check, DOT physical, and drug screening in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.
