Day Custodian - Elevate Learning Center

Conduct daily building maintenance including vacuuming, trash removal, stocking supplies, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms and lunch rooms. Promptly clean up spills, including bodily fluids, throughout the facility. Verify evening schedules for night staff and maintain safe walkways using snow equipment during winter months. Assist with unlocking doors, minor equipment repairs, and moving materials per electronic work orders. Manage custodial supply inventory by retrieving deliveries, checking stock, and organizing the workspace. Complete monthly preventative maintenance tasks such as inspecting fire extinguishers and servicing floor scrubbing machines. Train new custodial employees and ensure all chemical usage follows provided safety instructions.
