Day Custodian - Elevate Learning Center

Complete assigned building daily expectations including vacuuming, trash collection, stocking supplies, sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, and lunch room cleanup. Promptly clean up spills throughout the building, including bodily fluids. Verify evening schedules and print schedules for night staff. Maintain safe walkways using snow shovel, snow blower, and ice melt during winter months. Assist staff with unlocking doors, minor equipment repair, and moving materials based on electronic work orders. Perform monthly preventative maintenance tasks such as checking fire extinguishers and floor scrubbing machines. Assist with inventory of custodial supplies, retrieving deliveries, checking supplies in, and organizing the workspace. Train new custodial employees. Requires occasional lifting of 50 lbs and frequent standing and walking.
