Job Summary
Day Crew Selector role in Austin: Selects full-case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products from warehouse pick slots using pallet jack or forklift, then stacks on pallets, wraps, and transports to shipping dock or loads onto delivery vehicles. Multi-temperature environments and safety are emphasized. Responsibilities include locating items via pick sheets, verifying quantities, restacking as needed, keeping the warehouse tidy, and maintaining a food-safe environment. Requires punctuality, forklift/pallet jack experience (1 year), ability to pass a drug test, and weekend availability. Physical duties include frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting 50+ lbs; benefits include Medical, Vision, Dental, PTO, paid weekly, and 401K.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift/pallet jack 1 year
- Available to work on weekends
- Must Pass A Drug Test
- Frequent walking, kneeling, standing, squatting, bending, reaching overhead, and lifting 50+ lbs.
- Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Select merchandise for shipment and stack on pallet neatly by using a pallet jack or forklift
- Report any damaged equipment to shift supervisor or maintenance staff
- Maintain food-safe environment
- General physical activities load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
