Job Summary
Lead, coach, and mentor teachers in the classroom; manage a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children; implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to support each child’s needs; create a communicative relationship with parents about their children’s progress through various channels; collaborate with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement; build strong relationships with families and coworkers to foster a dynamic learning environment where play and learning happen together.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred
- At least six months of professional teaching experience required
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred
- High school diploma/GED required
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aide certification preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
