Job Summary
Supervise children and all activities while ensuring safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate childcare practices. Provide daily care that addresses feeding and social/emotional needs. Engage and support children in classroom activities, implement positive behavior management techniques, and plan age-appropriate activities for learning opportunities. Communicate effectively with coworkers and parents, maintain the facility and equipment, and complete required documentation. Attend family nights, program activities, and professional development trainings.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Demonstrates maturity, good judgment, and creativity
- Previous camp experience or experience working with groups of children
- Must be at least four years older than any child in his or her direct care
- Successful completion of a criminal history, child abuse & adult abuse background check.
