Job Summary
Supervise program participants and engage them in scheduled activities while modeling positive participation. Keep assigned participants in sight and within earshot, adhering to restroom break policies to ensure a safe, educational, and fun environment. Monitor behaviors to confirm rule compliance and manage issues with a compassionate attitude, maintaining open communication between supervisory and program staff. Ensure program rules are reviewed and followed by self and participants at all times.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of work related experience
- Valid PA State Driver's License
- Good driving record with 3 years experience
- Must be able to pass Salvation Army driving test
- Salvation Army KeepSafe certificates
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- PA State Police Criminal Record Check
- PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check
- Pennsylvania approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training
- Must understand and support for the Mission of The Salvation Army
