Day Camp Counselor

Day Camp Counselor at the YMCA of Coastal Georgia supervises children aged 5–12, guiding them through a planned schedule of educational, cultural, and recreational activities. Responsibilities include ensuring safety and wellbeing, leading activities (sports, crafts, games), completing incident reports and parent communications, participating in staff meetings and ongoing training, and upholding the organization’s four pillars of character. CPR and First Aid are required within 30 days of employment, and a criminal background check is required. Must be able to work with a positive, cheerful attitude and provide remarkable customer service to participants, coworkers, and families.
