Job Summary
The Day Camp Coordinator is responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for campers and staff, directly supervising day camp counselors, and guiding program activities. The role involves planning culturally relevant program activities and serving as a positive role model. Candidates must have previous experience working with youth, camp experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent, while also fulfilling specific certification requirements within 60 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Documentation of DHS clearance before starting work
- CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Safe certifications required within 60 days
- Complete Blood Borne Pathogens training, Redwoods, and concussion training as required
Desired Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience
- Experience working with youth
- Previous camp experience
