Job Summary
Plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in an elementary or secondary learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional and psychological growth and maturation. Instructs and supervises students in and out of the classroom; reports to work promptly; protects confidential information; develops a classroom environment conducive to effective learning; prepares for classes; maintains records; communicates with students/parents; may work in a co-teaching environment to provide specially designed instruction; adheres to district policies and safety procedures; participates in meetings and committees; engages in professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in field of assignment
- Valid Kentucky Teaching Certification for area and grade level of assignment
- Special Education Certification based on vacancy needs (LBD/MSD/Visually Impaired/Hearing Impaired)
