Job Summary
Set up, operate, and maintain Davenport screw machines to produce precision components while reading blueprints and interpreting specifications. Independently troubleshoot machine issues, perform preventive maintenance, and conduct visual inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers and thread gauges. Load and unload materials safely, monitor performance for quality adjustments, and adhere to all safety policies and operating procedures in a fast-paced environment. Full-time or part-time Monday through Friday with overtime available based on production requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience setting up and operating manual lathe machines or similar equipment
- Minimum 2 years of experience in precision component manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience setting up and operating Davenport machines
- Screw machine experience highly preferred
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining production machinery
