Job Summary
Provide high-quality technical support, troubleshooting issues, and guide users through configurations, upgrades, and enhancements for Datapay Direct clients via phone, email, or ticketing systems. Serve as the primary point of contact for assistance with payroll processing, tax calculations, reporting, and system integrations. Assist with software customisations to enhance system performance and document all interactions accurately in the ticketing system. Collaborate with internal Development and Product Management teams to escalate complex issues and contribute to product enhancements. Take reasonable care of Health and Safety standards and report incidents per Datacom policy. Requires 2–3 years of tech support experience, strong payroll knowledge, and excellent communication skills within a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience of 2/3 years in a Tech Support role
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing software-related issues
- Experience in software debugging tool and methodologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to clients of varying technical backgrounds
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Commitment to delivering a positive support experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within the payroll software industry or related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CPP - Certified Payroll Professional)
- Datapay payroll knowledge
