Job Summary
The DataOps / Platform Engineer oversees operational health, reliability, backup/archiving, and strategic planning for the enterprise analytics data platform. Responsible for maintaining a stable Microsoft Fabric environment and related data infrastructure, monitoring, and optimization to meet the needs of a growing analytics organization. Leads exploration/onboarding of new data sources, collaborating with business stakeholders and data engineers to assess feasibility and plan technical integration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in data platform operations, DataOps, or cloud infrastructure roles
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure infrastructure, or equivalent cloud data platforms
- Experience designing and managing backup, archiving, and disaster recovery processes
- Familiarity with job scheduling, monitoring, and alerting tools
