Job Summary
Data Center Operations Specialist responsible for installation, relocation, and removal of server equipment in the data center; lead ownership of customer and relocation projects and complex installations; provide on-the-job training to Data Center Operations Engineers; assist customers within data centers; analyze data to advise the local team manager on process improvements; upgrade/downgrade server hardware; replace hardware and manage administrative tasks; test servers and equipment per standards; collaborate with remote hands partners in the APAC region to support installations and adjustments of servers.
Required Qualifications
- At least multiple years of hands-on experience working in a data center with servers
- Strong Knowledge of various operating systems, especially Linux
- Strong Knowledge of Hardware (Servers, Switches, KVM, Hard Drives, Memory)
- Network knowledge (adjusting DNS/IP/Netmask/gateway/etc.)
- Certificate or degree in Computer Science or similar discipline preferably with an emphasis in Technology
