Job Summary
Datacenter Operations Engineer responsible for incident ownership and rapid restoration in a 24/7 shift environment at Haarlem data center. Key duties include troubleshooting hardware issues, performing planned hardware replacements, coordinating with cross-functional teams to restore services within SLA, and supporting server deliveries and relocations. Requires hands-on experience with server hardware (Dell/HP/Supermicro), Linux and Windows operating systems, networking basics, and strong communication skills to liaise with technical teams and customers. Must be able to work a fixed shift rotation and hold a valid Driver’s License with eligibility to work in the Netherlands. Required Qualifications
- Solid IT background
- Datacenter environments understanding
- Available to work fixed shift rotation
- Hands-on experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, or Supermicro preferred)
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with server troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts
- Strong communication skills with internal teams and customers
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under time pressure
- Driver’s License
- Eligibility to work in the Netherlands
