Job Summary
Manager role within PwC Acceleration Centers leading a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and GenAI developers to deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions. Responsible for mentoring, securing project delivery with quality standards, fostering client relationships, driving innovation in GenAI technologies, and guiding the team toward continuous improvement. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of technical experience; proficient in Python/R/Scala with experience in ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and Databricks GenAI architectures. Location is Bangalore, India. Responsibilities include: lead and mentor a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and GenAI developers; ensure successful project delivery; manage timelines and resources; build and sustain client relationships; drive enterprise-grade GenAI deployments; identify opportunities for innovation; uphold professional and technical standards; participate in dynamic, digitally-enabled training; contribute to the growth and development of the team and organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 6 years of technical/technology experience
- Experience leading and mentoring data science/ML teams
- Proficiency in Python, R, or Scala
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience architecting GenAI solutions (Databricks)
- Knowledge of data governance (Unity Catalog)
- Understanding of data privacy and compliance regulations
- Strong communication in English
- Ability to manage project timelines and resources
