Job Summary
As the Lead Developer on the Data & AI team at PwC, you will spearhead the development and delivery of analytics projects aimed at enhancing healthcare outcomes. Your responsibilities include developing scalable data solutions, optimizing complex data pipelines using PySpark/Scala, and ensuring data quality and governance. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with data scientists, and utilize cloud services, contributing to impactful transformation in the healthcare sector. To be successful, you need expertise in Databricks, leadership abilities, and over 5 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience in data engineering and software engineering
- Substantial exposure to Databricks
- Demonstrated experience in leading projects
- Mentoring teams and managing stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Expertise in Deep Spark (PySpark/Scala)
- Proficiency in data modeling
- Experience in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools
- Expertise in Delta Lake and Unity Catalog
