Job Summary
The Database/Web Engineer position involves designing and implementing data systems with web and database components, analyzing and maintaining databases and web interfaces, and adding features to operational systems. Strong programming skills in C++, Python, SQL, and modern web technologies are essential. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and the ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance. Collaboration within a multi-disciplinary R&D team focused on developing solutions for national security and defense is vital.
Required Qualifications
- Degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Proficient in modern software engineering practices for testability and readability
- Proficient in C++ and Python in LINUX environments
- Proficient in SQL and/or NoSQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
- Demonstrated ability to design software systems to ensure they achieve functionality, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance
- US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
Desired Qualifications
- At least 3 years' experience in software engineering-related discipline
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks including Vue, React, Angular
- DevOps and Cloud computing Experience (Gitlab, CI/CD, CVE mitigations, Docker, Kubernetes, PIP)
- Agile development processes
- Current TS/SCI clearance
