Job Summary
Architect and administer database environments at PL ALTESS, including installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and cloud systems to meet availability and performance standards. Develop security standards and ensure compliance with Cyber Command STIGs by performing Security Readiness Reviews and documenting findings in POA&M documents. Create and maintain monitoring dashboards for proactive database management while assisting in scheduling deployment activities and new installations. Requires active DoD Secret clearance and five years of enterprise application server architecture experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Experience in database administration and architecture
- Minimum five years' experience with Application Server architecture in a large enterprise environment
- Knowledge of Oracle, MSSQL, POSTGRES, MYSQL and cloud database environments
- Knowledge of database administration responsibilities
- Ability to relate to customers in a professional manner
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Python and PowerShell
- Working knowledge of DoD STIGs, and IAVM
