Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain complex database systems by writing and optimizing SQL queries, scripts, and performance tuning. Perform routine maintenance including backups, updates, and OS/software installations while troubleshooting hardware and software issues to ensure system integrity. Create tools for monitoring performance and resources, develop comprehensive documentation for structures and projects, and collaborate with developers and analysts on mission-critical initiatives. Investigate new IT technologies, train support personnel, and provide technical assistance to developers and DBAs. Requires 3-5 years of experience with Oracle and Linux.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science, IT or related field or equivalent education and experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in database programming, development, analysis
- 3 to 5 years of experience using Oracle and Linux
- in-depth knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems
- in-depth knowledge of network protocols and devices
- in-depth knowledge of programming
- in-depth knowledge of SQL
- in-depth knowledge of multiple database management systems
- understanding of database design principles
- Linux development and deployment

- Semiconductor industry preferred
