Job Summary
Develop and optimize data structures for reporting systems in investment banking projects, ensuring integrity and performance. Create and maintain stored procedures, functions, and scripts for data operations while designing database models and data warehousing architectures. Build and enhance ETL processes to support efficient data movement, conducting source-to-target mapping exercises for accurate integration. Optimize database and query performance through indexing, tuning, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with stakeholders to fulfill business needs within a distributed international team using Scrum/Agile methodology.
Required Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of SQL
- Extensive hands-on experience in MS SQL Server or Redshift platforms
- Strong understanding of relational database management system (RDBMS) concepts
- Proven experience in developing stored procedures, functions, and scripting for databases
- Deep expertise in query performance optimization, including indexing and tuning
- Solid background in data warehousing concepts and best practices
- Experience in data modeling and database design principles
- Skilled in developing ETL workflows for data movement between systems
- Curious and relentless problem solver
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid work permit for Serbia
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with AWS tools
- Familiarity with BI tools
- Background in the financial services industry
