Job Summary
Database Engineer- SQL Server focused on production operations and reliability engineering (SRE). Own production SQL Server environments, drive reliability, performance tuning, automation, monitoring, and incident response. Responsibilities include health and stability of SQL Server production, on-call incident triage, backup/recovery planning, high availability (Always On, replication), and collaboration with application engineers to optimize queries and ensure resilient systems. Key skills include T-SQL, PowerShell scripting, SQL Server performance tuning, indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, monitoring/alerting, and automation using SQL Server tooling. Role is hybrid with in-office days to be confirmed by the Hiring Manager; 24/7 on-call production support is required.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
