Job Summary
Design and develop database structures that fit into the overall architecture of the system under development, making trades among data volumes, user counts, and response times. Lead the development of databases, database parser software, and loading software while translating requirements into usable schemas through ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros. Direct fulfillment of requirements from project inception to conclusion and organize data into master files using Oracle Database, Enterprise Manager, and Data Guard. Manage Linux OS environments with Bash scripting and Cloud methodologies. Requires 10 years of DBE experience, DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II clearance, and a technical bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
- Ten (10) years experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- Five (5) years of DBE experience (substitutable for a bachelors degree)
- Experience in Information Assurance: DoD 8570.01-M compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II
Desired Qualifications
- Extensive experience with installation and patching associated with Oracle Database, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Oracle Data Guard
- Linux OS, Linux Commands, Bash Scripting
- Mongo experience
