Job Summary
Design stable, reliable database processes and develop code including PL/SQL triggers, procedures, functions, and materialized views. Generate custom applications for intra-department use on a rapid development platform and handle functional testing throughout the development life cycle. Gather user requirements, solve database usage issues, and provide data management support to ensure programs meet performance standards. Collaborate with administrators and business users to identify new features and suggest new database products or protocols. This full-time role requires one to three years of database development experience and strong analytical skills. Based in the organization to support front-end systems and web services, the position focuses on improving information availability and decision-making capability through effective technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
- In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, security, and monitoring)
- Excellent analytical and organization skills
- An ability to understand front-end user requirements and a problem-solving attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- One to three years of database development/administration experience
- Strong creative and analytical thinking skills
