Database Business Analyst to support a shipyard-focused program; analyzes business requirements, designs database solutions, and supports data analytics to inform operational and leadership decision-making. Requires experience with database systems, business process analysis, data integration, Navy/defense IT environments, strong SQL and reporting skills (e.g., Business Objects), and the ability to translate operational needs into actionable database designs and metrics. Onsite in Portsmouth, VA; salary $85,000-$100,000; U.S. Citizenship and an Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 4–7 years of experience in database administration, business analysis or data management
- Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools
