Job Summary
Manage and optimize Raiser's Edge and related fundraising systems, ensuring donor data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with CRA, CASL, and PCI standards. Oversee gift processing, reconciliation, and annual tax receipting while leading segmentation strategies, reporting frameworks, and Power BI dashboards to drive fundraising performance. Directly manage and coach the Database Coordinator, develop automation workflows using Power Automate, and maintain data synchronization across platforms including Engaging Networks and ImportOmatic. Collaborate with finance, communications, and global teams to streamline operations, reduce manual workloads, and support organizational decision-making through actionable data insights.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of database management experience
- Ideally with Raiser's Edge
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Experience using Power BI or similar tools
- Advanced Excel skills
- Confidence working with large data sets
- Experience managing integrations, imports, exports, and fundraising data flows
- Experience using or managing workflow automation tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to data accuracy and systems integrity
- Proven experience managing and coaching a Database Coordinator or similar role
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to provide clear direction, oversight, and support to team members
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative ability across teams
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
