Job Summary
Manage the Test Information Management System at NAWCWD by providing desktop application, development, documentation, and maintenance support. Develop, modify, and manage relational databases while designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications to meet current and future business requirements. Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Access, SQL Server, Visual Basic for Applications, and Excel to support military flight testing. Requires U.S. citizenship, Secret clearance, and an Associate degree in Computer Science or related field.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizenship
- Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Highly proficient in desktop computer applications: Microsoft Access or SQL Server
- Highly proficient in desktop computer applications: Visual Basic for Applications
- Highly proficient in desktop computer applications: Microsoft Excel
- Highly proficient in desktop computer applications: Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong computer and database administration and development skills
- Detail oriented with knowledge of UI design
- Possess analytical and technical skills appropriate for direct support of military flight testing
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
- Must be available for onsite work

- Familiarity with military flight test environment a plus
