Job Summary
Database Administrator to support Navy logistics systems in Mechanicsburg, PA. Provides system and database administration, SDLC support, security compliance with DISA STIGs and DoD policies, code development and maintenance, testing (unit/integration/UAT), documentation, and collaboration with NAVSUP technical staff. Requires DoD cybersecurity awareness training and (preferred) Secret Clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing software engineering activities
- Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and testing software and database-driven applications
- Experience supporting systems across SDLC phases, including development, testing, deployment, and sustainment
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- C+
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Secure coding practices
- GUI development and testing methodologies
- Software defect identification tools (e.g., FindBugs or equivalent)
- Unit, Integrated, and User Acceptance Testing
- Test case development, test data creation, defect tracking, and regression testing
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification
- Secret Clearance (Preferred)
- Must be US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain required background investigation and Common Access Card (CAC)
- Completion of required DoD Cyber Awareness and Information Assurance training
